Judy Schmidt | Here's a close-up of the center without the MIRI data making it too bright to see. In here, as far as I can tell, the cores of two galaxies are doing whatever it is they do when two galaxies are involved in a late merger. Yellow stuff is dust. JWST was able to resolve the starry texture of the galaxy. Some may be individual stars or clumps of stars. Point is, what looks like noise is actually stars.
